Breast Cancer Prevention

There is a new study recently published that shows that women who exercise vigorously have a 14% lower risk in developing breast cancer. It could be due to a lower body fat, which would decrease the amount of estrogen within the body, but they are still studying the results.

"If found to be causally related to breast cancer, physical activity would have
a substantial public health effect on the prevention of this disease, along with
its other positive health benefits," it added.

The study involved more than 36,000 women over several years.
